Chemistry week.

Chemistry was fun this week. we did labs about moles and atoms, and how many moles are in each element. we also watched a video that Mr. Olson and Curtis did on Moles. It was called "Molesong with C." it was very fun to watch and it got the song stuck in my head for a little while. i think it was a good video. Chemistry this week was very fun, and i love having my friends in this class :)

Christmas.

Everyone loves Christmas right? Well shockingly, not me. I don't celebrate it. Everyone finds it so shocking that i don't celebrate it, but it's true. I am what you would call a Jehovah Whitness, or as people call it "Jo-ho." I have been a Jehovah Whitness since i was 4 years old, and i don't celebrate holidays or any events. It kinda sucks, but it's what i am, and there is nothing i can do about it. I have never received a christmas present before, or any other presents. my friends tell me that they are going to get my presents, but when they do, i never accept them. ohhh the joys of not celebrating holidays... =/

Phones.

I absolutely love my cell phone, i just got it about a month ago, and i still love it. it is a touch screen with a keyboard and its one of the best phones ive ever had. i almost cried when i got it, because i have been wanting a new phone for over a year, and my parents came into my room with a new phone. i loved it! i couldn't believe it, i was so happy that they had gotten me a new phone, and i wouldn't trade it for anything :)

Nails.

Nails suck. They are very hard to use when it comes to typing, and doing many other things. They get in the way all the time and they are very dull. Yeah they are pretty and you can have different colors and designs, but they cost money and they don't last very long. I recommend not getting nails unless you get them short, i would just get them painted so it would be easier to type and do other things.

Wrestling

I got into watching wrestling again because my step-dad watches it all the time and he got me into watching it. I don't really like the fact that it is all fake now, but i love the guys that are in it. The number one guy i am totally in love with John Cena. He is currently the WWE champion and he is so awesome. I have met him once before when he was at F.Y.E when he was signing for his new movie called 12 Rounds. I almost died when i first met him, because i think he is very gorgeous and i have all kinds of John Cena atire.

Alexx France vs. Rami Hosh.

Ever since last year in spanish class, Rami Hosh and I have always been in many competitions over sports. we both fight over our teams being better than the other and it is very funny, because somtimes we make bets about it, and he has had to pay me a few times because his teams lost to mine. he says that my team got lucky, but i know that my teams are better than his. he like the golden state warriors, the san francisco fouty niners, and the san francisco giants. i like the dallas cowboys, oakland athletics, and the sacramento kings. the only team that we both agree on is the san jose sharks. but other than that. we fight all the time, but i love i him and it's so funny arguing with him, because we can never be truly mad at each other :)

Glasses.

i started wearing my glasses about a month ago, because i lost one of my contacts :( i hate the way i look with my glasses on but i get a lot of compliments on them from friends and family so i am greatful that they like me for who i am and not because of who im not. i hope that i get my contacts soon, so i can stop wearing my glasses, because they can be very annoying sometimes and i hate it. but i will admit, i have been doing a lot better since i have had them on and i do better in school. but i want my contacts back, and i hope to get them back soon.

Friends.

my friends are the best ever, they have always been there for me, and i wouldn't change them for the world. i wouldn't be who i am today if it weren't for my friends. although i have lost a few friendships that i am not to happy about, but hey, everything happens for a reason so there is nothing i can do about it. oh well. but other than that. my friends are the best ever and i know who my true friends are and those who are only my friends because of the stuff i have. so it's whatever.

My life.

My life is great at the moment. i love my friends and family more than anything and i wouldn't trade them for the world! i have the best family ever, and i have the best of friends. my 2 main best friends are Irene and Sarena. Sarena has been my best friend since 8th grade, and Irene has been my best friend since last year. Although i don't live near Sarena anymore and i moved schools, we are closer than ever and we talk everyday. With Irene and I, her and I are pretty much sisters, because we have soooo much in common and im so glad i met her :) i have the best boyfriend in the world, and even though we live far apart, we make time to see each other all the time. it really sucks because he leaves for boot camp pretty soon, he's a maraine. i miss him sooo much!

This weekend.

I can't wait for the weekend! my parents are out of town until this Sunday, so it's just my brother and i at home all weekend! i can't wait. I am having a couple friends come over and hang out for the weekend after we go to the play on Friday. I hope this play will be good and interesting, because it's $8 so i mean it should be good right? or am i just talking crazy. i hope not. i hope it'll be fun. anyways, i can't wait for the weekend because it's very rare that my parents go out of town.

Homework.

Homework sucks. i mean it's easy to do, but i hate having it over the weekend. i mean it takes up a lot of my time and there is other things to do than sit for 3 hours doing homework. i mean seriously? i understand that we get it during the week, but not over the weekend, the weekend is time for the students to hang with their friends and have a good time. i don't think we should have homework over the weekend. so NO HOMEWORK OVER THE WEEKEND!!!

School

Today was a pretty good day for me. I hung out with friends and had a lot of fun. I love hanging with my friends because they are always there for me when i need them and i love having them in my classes. i don't know what i would do without them, they are the best. my classes have been going well. my teachers are pretty cool, and their lessons are pretty fun to do sometimes. i guess you can say that i am enjoying my junior year here at Mills, but i can't wait to get out of here next year! :)

Another week in Chemistry

This week in Chemistry, we did a labs that I actually really enjoyed doing. I have to say that this lab was probably one of the best. The lab we did, was called Subatomic Heavyweights. In Subatomic Heavyweights, we got more familiar with the differences between protons, neutrons, and electrons. Protons and neutrons are pretty much the same, but when it comes to electrons, it is very different from the two. Most of the time, protons and neutrons have the same number, but with the electrons, the number is normally more than protons and neutrons. I really enjoyed this lab, and I would love to do labs like this more often, it was very easy to understand and fun to do :D

Beryllium

Today in chemistry, I learned that beryllium is the fourth element on the periodic table. It has 4 protons and neutrons, and has exactly 5 electrons, and it's atomic mass number is 9.01. This element looks like a planet, and the element symbol is Be. Beryllium is a metal, and is steel gray in color, and has many properties. It has one of the highest melting points of all light metals. Beryllium is used as an alloying agent in producing beryllium copper. Other uses of Beryllium include windshield frame, brake discs, support beams, and other structural components of the space shuttle. I have to say, that Beryllium is a great element to talk about, and most definitely one to learn a lot about. :D

Density

This week in chemistry, we did the Density Lab. We figured out the weight, length, width, and mass of different objects. It was kinda hard, but once I got more and more into the process. I thought it was pretty easy. Density = Mass/Volume, Mass =Density x Volume, and Volume =Mass/Density. Those three equations are easy to remember, and are really easy to use if you get the hang of it. :D

Copper vs Gold.

This week in chemistry was pretty interesting. We did a lot of fun things in class this week. We talked about the difference between copper and gold. Even though they have similar characteristics, they are very different. Copper's atomic mass number 63.55 and Gold's atomic mass number is 196.97. They are both in the same family of elements, along with silver, who is in the middle of both Copper and Gold.

Hello, my name is Alexxandria Michelle France. I have many goals in life when it comes to work, school, and family. For school, I want to graduate on time, get good grades, and keep and make new friends in my last two years of high school. I love coming to school to see my friends and hanging out with them when I get a chance. I plan on going to Sacramento State when I get out of high school. With my job, I like my job that I have right now, but I would love to get into photography and/or continue with my modeling. Family wise, I would love to eventually settle down, get married, and have a family. That is my main goal in life when I get older. I would love to have the picture perfect family by having one boy and one girl, but whatever happens, happens.
